Job summary

Explore Group is seeking enthusiastic Customer Experience team members for the Bay of Islands 2026/27 summer season, based at the Paihia reservations office. Help guests feel informed, welcomed and excited about Explore experiences, assisting with enquiries and bookings and ensuring every customer feels well looked after from the moment they connect.

These seasonal roles run through to April 2026 with start dates as early as September.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and confidence using computer systems.
• Ability to follow processes accurately and stay detail oriented.
• Friendly, professional manner with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Capable of working independently and contributing to a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Answer enquiries and assist with bookings from the Paihia reservations office.
• Inform guests about Explore experiences and travel options.
• Ensure guests feel welcomed, informed and well cared for from first contact.

Offering unique experiences in amazing places, Explore Group operates a range of marine-based activities in the Bay of Islands, Auckland, and Hamilton Island, Australia. We’re now looking for enthusiastic Customer Experience team members to join our Bay of Islands team for the 2026/27 summer season.

Based at our Paihia reservations office, you’ll help guests feel informed, welcomed and excited about their upcoming Explore experience. You’ll assist with enquiries and bookings, share information about our experiences, and help ensure every customer feels well looked after from the moment they connect with us.

What we’re looking for

• Strong communication skills and confidence using computer systems
• Great attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately
• A warm, friendly and professional manner
• A positive attitude, with the ability to stay calm and focused during busy periods
• Confidence to work independently while also contributing to a supportive team environment
