Job summary

New Zealand Police in Rotorua is looking for a Custody Officer to join our Custody Unit. You will manage the welfare of detainees in custody and during transit, ensuring health and safety while maintaining dignity and respect.

This role can be permanent or a 12-month fixed-term contract, with starting salary of $75,495 and opportunities to progress. You’ll work across shifts and contribute to high standards of care and professionalism.
