Job summary

Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu seeks experienced educators to develop high-quality curriculum resources for the 2027 curriculum and assessment refresh. Roles span several learning areas, from part-time to full-time, across NZ regional offices, including Wellington and Auckland.

This is a fixed-term project from January to December 2027 to help shape learning for ākonga across Aotearoa. NZ Registered teachers with current practicing certificates who have recent classroom experience and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• NZ Registered teachers with a current practicing certificate
• Recent teaching experience in a New Zealand school
• Strong knowledge of the relevant learning area or areas
• Familiarity with the NZ Curriculum Refresh (NZCR), including mātauranga Māori, literacy, numeracy, and key competencies

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, inclusive and pedagogically sound curriculum resources
• Contribute to the 2027 curriculum and assessment review and refresh
• Work on resources across a range of learning areas for nationwide use
