Cognition Education is seeking experienced education consultants and curriculum specialists to shape teaching and learner success across New Zealand. We partner with schools, kura, and agencies to deliver high-quality professional learning and resources for Years 0-10 and Years 11-13.

We welcome Expressions of Interest from educators passionate about improving learner outcomes, and who can work collaboratively to implement the refreshed NZ Curriculum with culturally responsive approaches.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in the New Zealand education sector.
• Strong knowledge of the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum and revised subject curricula.
• Track record of strengthening teaching practice or learner outcomes.
• Experience developing curriculum, assessment, or learning materials for Years 11-13.

We welcome Expressions of Interest from experienced educators, curriculum specialists and resource developers who are passionate about making a positive difference for learners and communities.

• Delivering high-quality professional learning and capability building for teachers and leaders working with Years 0-10 learners.
• Supporting schools and kura to implement the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum and revised learning areas through practical, culturally responsive professional learning.
• Developing high-quality curriculum, assessment, teaching and learning materials for Years 11-13 across all subjects and learning areas.
• Working collaboratively with subject matter experts, education leaders and project teams to create useful, engaging and accessible learning experiences and resources.

Requirements

Who we are looking for

• Proven experience in the New Zealand education sector.
• Strong knowledge of the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum, revised curricula and the pedagogical approaches that support effective implementation.
• A track record of strengthening teaching practice, building leadership capability or supporting improved learner outcomes.
• Subject or learning area expertise relevant to the opportunities outlined above
• Experience developing curriculum, assessment, teaching or learning materials, particularly for consultants interested in Years 11-13 work.
• The ability to work collaboratively, respond constructively to feedback and meet agreed deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a practical, adaptable approach.
