Job summary

Ministry of Education in Invercargill, South Island, is recruiting for a permanent, full-time role in the Otago/Southland Curriculum Advisory Team. Qualifications

• Strong curriculum delivery expertise and thorough knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum.
• Recent school-based experience, ideally within primary education.
• Understanding of the science of learning, effective teaching practices, and assessment approaches.
• Proven experience leading whole-school curriculum planning, implementation and change.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with kaiako, teachers and leaders to build capability and drive improvement.
• Familiarity with te ao Māori, te reo Māori, tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori.
• Full New Zealand driver licence, as travel is required.
