Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin seeks two full-time Lecturers for the Bachelor of Culinary Arts, primarily supporting distance learners through our Assessment of Prior Learning pathway.

You will work with experienced culinary practitioners to build professional portfolios, provide guidance, and assess and moderate within the APL process, helping learners articulate and evidence their knowledge and skills.

Formación

• Relevant degree or extensive industry experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience or familiarity with portfolio-based learning and APL processes.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in hospitality.

Responsabilidades

• Profile learners and explore their professional experience.
• Guide portfolio development and provide feedback.
• Review learner work and undertake assessment and moderation within APL.
• Collaborate across the Food Design Institute and College to support ākonga and whānau.
