Job summary

Health New Zealand Waitematā is seeking a Team Leader for Computerised Tomography (CT) to support CT MITs and the Radiology team. You will lead, educate, and ensure high-quality, patient-focused CT services, promoting evidence-based practice and timely patient flow.

Applicants should have a Bachelor in Medical Imaging with MRTB registration, CPD engagement, and a minimum of five years CT experience plus two years teaching CT MITs.

• Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging and MRTB registration.
• Enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
• Minimum of five years' experience working within CT scope of practise.
• Minimum two years experience teaching and training CT MITs.
• Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.
• Patient- and whānau-centred approach with commitment to culturally safe practice.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting Health New Zealand Waitematā CT Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) and the wider Radiology team to deliver efficient, high-quality, and patient-focused CT services. You'll help ensure smooth patient flow within the departments and contribute to a positive patient experience. As a clinical leader, you'll educate and guide the CT MIT teams, promoting evidence-based practice, professional development, and adherence to quality standards and ethical codes.
