Foodstuffs North Island in Wellington seeks a motivated baker for our fast-paced bakery. You will perform scratch baking for French pastries, quiches and pies, and contribute to cake baking both scratch and premix.

You should bring flair, creativity, and the ability to generate new product ideas while managing stocktake and ordering. The role requires teamwork, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and leading by example.

Qualifications

• Scratch baking for French pastries and key bakery items.
• Ability to create new product ideas and flavours.
• Stocktake and ordering responsibilities for the bakery.
• Work well in a team, handle pressure, and lead by example.
• NQA Level 4 qualification or overseas equivalent, or 2 years baking experience.
• Ability to manage both scratch and premix baking processes.
