Hynds Pipe Systems Limited in Auckland is seeking a Graphic Designer & Digital Innovation Lead to advance our 3D modelling, printing, and digital media capabilities. You will prototype, render, and refine products, while shaping brand visuals across print and digital channels.

The role includes managing a 3D lab, supporting website CMS, producing marketing materials, coordinating print, events and signage, and collaborating with engineers and suppliers to drive design excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in 3D visualization or related design field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, with InDesign and Photoshop skills.
• Strong conceptual development and ability to deliver across multiple mediums.
• Experience in website content management and publishing.
• Experience in large‑scale print development and publication.
• Photography and Photoshop competency for product/event work.

Responsibilities

• 3D lab management: optimise 3D printing and digital modelling workflows.
• Prototyping: refine new product concepts with engineers.
• Vendor management: maintain supplier relationships.
• Resource management: oversee stock of consumables.
• Technological research: explore new digital library capabilities.
• Visual & brand: maintain design and brand for print materials.
• Software: maintain expertise across 3D software toolset.
• Multimedia: support photography/video workflows and image library.
• Website: manage content across Group websites and CMS.
• Print: design and produce promotional print materials.
• Communications: translate ideas into clear design concepts.
• Progression: stay updated with design trends and tech.
