Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited in East Tamaki, Auckland, is seeking a creative and technically capable Graphic Designer & Digital Innovation Lead to advance our 3D modelling and printing capabilities for business and customer needs.

You will also support digital development initiatives, maintain multimedia and website content, develop and update marketing and communications material, and coordinate print production, signage, events and sponsorships to boost our brand visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts (or closely related design discipline).
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in 3D visualisation or related design field.
• Adobe Creative Cloud power user with excellent InDesign and Photoshop skills.
• Experience in large-scale print development and publication.
• Photography and Photoshop competency for product, event and in-situ work.
• Videography and video-editing software experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under time pressure; strong stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• 3D lab management: optimise 3D printing and digital modelling capabilities.
• Prototyping: collaborate with engineers to refine new product concepts.
• Vendor management: manage supplier relationships.
• Resource management: stock and maintain consumables.
• Technological research: explore new digital technologies for the library.
• Visual & brand: maintain design and brand for print matter.
• Software: maintain expertise across 3D software toolset.
• Multimedia: support photography and video workflows; manage image library.
• Website: update content across group websites and CMS.
• Print: design and produce print matter for promotions, events, signage.
• Communications: translate ideas into clear concepts for stakeholders.
