Job summary

Manurewa High School is seeking an enthusiastic and student-centred English and media studies teacher to join our collaborative, diverse and creative department. You will teach junior and senior English and media studies across Years 10–13, contributing ideas and working closely with the English and media studies curriculum leadership team.

We value culturally sustaining practice and mana ōrite mō te mātauranga Māori, with emphasis on engaging, relevant learning experiences and strong assessment

Qualifications

• Teaching junior and senior English across Years 7–15
• Teaching media studies across Years 10–13
• Collaborating with curriculum leadership and department
• Contributing to assessment, moderation and tracking
• Designing engaging, culturally responsive learning experiences
• Promoting equity and positive outcomes for all ākonga

Responsibilities
