You will set the creative vision, lead the team, define scope and deliverables, and collaborate with partner agencies. The role also involves shaping pitches, maintaining quality, and staying ahead of tech and innovation.

We're looking for an experienced design leader to step into a Creative Director position.

Our client is a high-end digital led creative studio.

Leading a talented team this role oversees the delivery of exceptional digital experiences that are beautifully crafted and have effectiveness for the businesses behind them.

In this role you will:

Step into active projects and long-standing client relationships with ease

Set the creative vision

Lead the creative team

Define scope and deliverables

Work seamlessly with partner agencies

Lead creative for pitches and new business

Maintain quality and consistency

Stay ahead of emerging tech and innovation

You’ll ideally also have experience in:

Brand strategy and positioning at a high level

Planning and engagement framing

UX Strategy and information architecture

An opportunity to work with global clients, solving problems at a high level, and creating clarity through meaningful design solutions with commercial relevance.

This role will suit a designer from a brand design and/or digital design studio background with strong, stunning crafted work. While deep digital experience is preferred, our client is open to shaping this role around the right person if you bring other high-level, valuable skills.

The role can be based in Wellington or remote within Aotearoa.
