Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a fit, reliable courier driver to pick up, sort, load and deliver parcels in town, ensuring scanning and adherence to company policies while supporting depot duties.

The role requires excellent communication, multi-tasking, and time management, plus a clean NZ driver’s license (Class 1, DG preferred) and 1–2 years of experience. Willingness to work Sundays and pass pre-employment checks is essential.

We are seeking a fit, reliable, and hardworking individual, ideally with previousexperience as a courier driver. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up, sorting, loading, and deliveringparcels in town. You will ensure that all freight is scanned in line with company policiesand procedures and assist with general depot duties as required.

About you, you will need to be a passionate, highly organised, and responsible individual, capable of multi-tasking, managing your time and problem-solving when necessary. Our Company prides itself on delivering to the highest standard, so to succeed in this role, you will be required to always operate in line with company policy. As this is a customer-facing role, you will need to be well presented, have excellent communication skills and a willingness to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues

As the successful applicant, you will have:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
• The ability to multi-task, stay organised, and manage your time effectively.
• Current clean NZ Driver's License, preferably with a DG endorsement.
• Must have 1/2 years of relevant work experience.
• An understanding of brand representation and the ability to always operate professionally.
• Class 1 Full NZ Driving Licence.

• You must have a clean criminal conviction (MoJ) test.
• You must be willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Drug Test.
• Must know how to drive both manual/automatic transmission vans
• Must be willing to work on Sundays.
• To start early and finish late, sometimes 12 hours a day.
