New Zealand Government's Corrections is seeking a Corrections Officer for the Northland Region Corrections Facility. You will supervise inmates, escort them to programmes, monitor safety, and help maintain a calm, respectful environment across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in New Zealand or a visa with at least 24 months remaining.
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• Medical fitness for employment and readiness assessment.
• Declare any conflicts of interest and previous convictions.

Responsabilités

• Supervise people in Prison and manage daily routines within units.
• Escort individuals around the site to education programmes or appointments.
• Monitor, assess and manage behaviour and safety; reduce conflict.
• Work in a 24/7 roster including weekends and public holidays.
