You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners on sophisticated transactions for an impressive mix of clients, including listed companies, private equity investors, international corporates, business owners and major investors.
The work is varied and high-value, spanning M&A, private equity, takeovers, joint ventures, merger clearances and foreign investment matters. You’ll gain exposure to complex transactions while working closely with clients and senior lawyers who are leaders in their field.
This would suit a lawyer who enjoys technically challenging work, has strong commercial instincts and wants to build their career within a genuinely high-performing team.
To be considered for this role, you will be a NZ admitted solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE gained in corporate/commercial law, ideally within a leading law firm or professional services environment.
You’ll have experience working on M&A or corporate transactions and possess strong technical and academic credentials.

Most importantly, you’ll be ambitious, curious and motivated to continue developing your career within a sophisticated corporate practice.
People enjoy working in this team because the standards are high without the environment becoming overly corporate. You’ll work with smart, driven lawyers who genuinely enjoy what they do, while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative team where development is encouraged.
