Job summary

Bethlehem Birthing Centre in Tauranga is seeking a skilled Registered Midwife for a permanent part-time role (0.8 FTE) to provide high-quality antenatal, birthing, and postnatal care within a supportive team.

You will collaborate with whānau to deliver culturally responsive maternity care, be committed to professional development, and maintain registration and APC while enjoying a vibrant coastal lifestyle.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the Midwifery Council of NZ and an APC.
  • Sound clinical judgement and commitment to high quality maternity care.
  • Experience delivering antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building in a team.

You are a skilled compassionate Registered Midwife who is passionate about providing safe, respectful, and culturally responsive maternity care. You build trusted relationships with women, babies, and their whānau, and enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team. Committed to clinical excellence and continuous professional development, you are motivated by making a positive difference throughout every stage of the maternity journey.

What you will bring
