Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Bethlehem Birthing Centre in Tauranga is seeking a skilled Registered Midwife for a part-time 0.8 FTE role to provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care in a whānau-centred setting.

You will work with a supportive maternity team, uphold cultural safety, foster ongoing professional development, and contribute to safe, positive birth experiences while delivering high-quality maternity care across the journey.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the Midwifery Council and an Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • Sound clinical judgement and commitment to high-quality maternity care.
  • Experience delivering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to whānau-centred, culturally safe maternity care.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Committed to clinical excellence and continuous professional development, you are motivated by making a positive difference throughout every stage of the maternity journey.
