Job summary

Seeka in Mount Maunganui is seeking a skilled forklift operator to keep kiwifruit coolstore running safely and efficiently, moving pallets and supporting daily operations.

This is a full-time seasonal role through December, with potential for ongoing employment from February next year for the right candidate. You must be a NZ citizen or permanent resident to apply.

• Proven forklift experience in kiwifruit environment.
• Experience with automated racking systems.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a small team.
• Flexibility to work seasonal hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts in a coolstore environment.
• Work within automated racking systems to store and move pallets.
• Load, unload, stack, and transfer kiwifruit pallets.
• Support daily coolstore operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and food safety requirements.

About the Role

As a forklift operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our coolstore operations running safely and efficiently by moving and managing kiwifruit pallets.

• Safely operate forklifts in a coolstore environment.
• Work within automated racking systems to store and move pallets.
• Load, unload, stack, and transfer kiwifruit pallets.
• Support daily coolstore operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and food safety requirements.
