About the Role

You will play a crucial role in optimizing plant efficiency, ensuring product quality, and improving operational safety through sophisticated automation solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in process automation, PLC/DCS programming, and a keen understanding of chemical engineering principles to effectively integrate control strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and program Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to optimize plant performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, instrumentation, and automation hardware/software.
• Collaborate with chemical engineers and operations personnel to define control system requirements and improvements.
• Perform loop tuning and optimization to ensure stable and efficient process operation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of control system design, configuration, and changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency with DCS platforms (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion) and PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).
• Strong understanding of process instrumentation and control theory.
• Experience with simulation tools and data acquisition systems.
