Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking a Contracts Administrator/Quantity Surveyor to manage end-to-end contracting for major construction projects across our NZ sites. You will oversee commercial terms, cost control, procurement, and variations, working closely with development and operations teams.

The role suits someone with a few years in similar roles, strong Excel skills, and the ability to influence outcomes while maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor on large multi-disciplinary construction projects.
• Strong Excel skills and financial acumen.
• Experience in preparation of contract agreements.
• NZ Citizenship or PR with ability to obtain NZ Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of construction contracts, including cost control, procurement of subcontractors, and negotiation of commercial terms.
• Identify financial risks and ensure contract obligations are met, including tracking milestones, payments, and reporting.
• Collate, QA, and analyse contractor pricing, verifying rates and quantity measures for accuracy.
• Oversee contract financial administration and tracking within project budgets and policies, handling variations and documentation.
• Prepare head contract progress claims and support review and response to contractual correspondence.
