Job summary

Success Group is seeking a reliable Public Facilities Cleaner in Tauranga, NZ, to clean and sanitise public bathrooms and facilities across various spaces. The role starts early, requiring independence and a proactive approach to maintain high hygiene standards.

You will work mornings with potential for extra hours when colleagues are unavailable. A pre-employment drug test and MOJ background check are required as part of the selection process. Must be able to pass these checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning public spaces, bathrooms and shared facilities.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work unsupervised.
• Physically able to perform manual cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Public Facilities Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across public spaces, including bathrooms and shared facilities.

This is an early morning position, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and starting your day early. There is also scope to pick up additional hours when other team members are unable to attend, providing an opportunity to earn extra income.

Saturday, Sunday, Mon, Tues

9:30am - 17:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising public bathrooms and facilities
• General cleaning of public areas (sweeping, mopping, rubbish removal)
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues
• Ensuring high hygiene and presentation standards are consistently met

About You

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working early morning shifts

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) background check.
