Job summary

Jora New Zealand is looking for reliable team members to join our cleaning crew for residences or office buildings. We provide training; no qualifications or experience are required.

You will perform routine cleaning tasks, operate basic equipment, follow health and safety rules, and help maintain a tidy, odor-free environment. Flexible shifts and a supportive team are on offer. We value reliability, safety, and the ability to work independently or with others.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Reliable, with integrity and good interpersonal skills.
• Can work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Not allergic to chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Basic cleaning in and around residences or office buildings.
• Performing various cleaning actions, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuumming, dusting, picking up objects off the floor, spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleaning and polishing floors and rooms.
• Cleaning restroom, including restocking dispenser, empty trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Emptying trash and recycling receptacles into the appropriate waste bins and ensure that receptacles are kept clean and free of smell.
• Setting up, stocking and maintaining equipment and supplies
• Performing routine inspection
• Notifying management in case there is a need for repair and interventions
• Following all health and safety regulations
