Job summary

Allevia Hospitals in Auckland seeks a skilled content creator to plan and produce engaging written stories, photography and video content. This newly created role is fixed term to 30 June 2027 and based at Ascot Park, Greenlane.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will develop content for social media, newsletters, websites and intranet, shaping a consistent brand voice and delivering high-quality material within budget.

Qualifications

• Qualification or experience in communications, journalism, marketing, digital media, content production, PR or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience creating large volumes of written, photographic, video and digital content in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience writing and editing engaging content for social media, newsletters, websites, intranet and internal channels.
• Experience in creation and coordination of photography and video content, including planning shoots and interviews.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English with stakeholders and vendors.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the wider marketing team and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, to plan and deliver high quality material. You will develop content for use across social media channels, newsletters, websites, intranet and other marketing and communication platforms.

Your Early Focus Will Be To Set Up Our Content Creation Processes And Deliver Calendar Activity For The Business. This Will Include

• Tell authentic business stories that build brand awareness, strengthen brand perception and increase audience engagement.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual style and quality standard across all content to ensure it reflects the organisation and brands.
• Monitor content and performance and use insights to improve future storytelling, channel effectiveness and audience engagement.

This role will suit a specialist who is passionate, confident and experienced in sole charge content creation on website and intranet CMS systems. You thrive in a busy environment juggling priorities and are open to taking on feedback for improvements for better outcomes within budgets. As a high performing team member, you will understand that customer service is critical to build brands with creative content to a quality standard.

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant qualification or experience in communications, journalism, marketing, digital media, content production, public relations or a related discipline.
• Essential to have a minimum 3-5 years’ relevant creating large volumes or written, photographic, video and digital content n a fast-paced marketing, communications, media, agency or in-house environment.
• Proven experience writing and editing engaging content for social media, newsletters, websites, intranet platforms and internal communication channels. Ideally across a group or multi-brand environment, healthcare or regulated industries would be advantageous.
• Experienced in creation and coordination of photography and video content, including planning shoots, interviewing, briefings and content for digital channels.
• Strong communication and proficient in English with all level of stakeholders and vendors.
