Job summary

The New Zealand AA (Automobile Association) is seeking several part-time Customer Service Representatives for a 3-month fixed-term period over the summer, based in our Penrose contact centre. You will handle Membership inquiries and roadside support, working 20–24 hours per week with a weekend-forward roster.

Training is provided: a comprehensive two-week full-time programme delivering classroom learning and hands-on experience before transitioning to a part-time schedule.

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
• Availability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.
• Previous contact centre experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Membership enquiries and roadside assistance arrangements.
• Coordinate roadside support for Members and business partners.

These phone-based roles will play a vital part in supporting increased customer demand and helping us continue to deliver exceptional service when our Members need us most.We have a range of rosters available, all requiring a commitment to work at least one weekend day. You'll work 20 - 24 hours per week, primarily across our busiest days of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so flexibility to work across these days is essential with earliest roster starts from 8am and latest finishes up to 10pm.To get you started, we provide a comprehensive two-week full-time paid training programme commencing 9 November, delivered during standard business hours. This includes classroom learning, working alongside our friendly team, and gaining first-hand insight into what it takes to keep New Zealand moving.
