Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau in Whangārei, Northland, New Zealand, invites applications for a Consultant Breast Radiologist in a permanent part-time position (0.5 FTE). You will join a multidisciplinary breast service in a purpose-built clinic with access to mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound and biopsy capabilities.

Specialist fellowship is preferred; MCNZ registration is required or eligible, with support to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for specialist MCNZ registration in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
• Strong sub-speciality interest or fellowship is an advantage.
• Support for MCNZ registration process if overseas.

Responsibilities

• Part of a multidisciplinary breast service team in a purpose-built clinic.
• Role may involve symptomatic and screening breast work and possibly general radiology.
• Multi-modality imaging and reporting including biopsy and MDT meetings.

# Consultant Breast Radiologist at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau, Northland## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role* **Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand*** **Permanent part-time position 0.5FTE**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.**About the Role**You will be part of a passionate and innovative multi-disciplinary breast service team in a purpose-built clinic supported by surgeon's, specialist breast care nurses, medical imaging technologists' sonographers, community and administrative teams.The role could include both symptomatic and screening breast work and can include General radiology (another subspecialty may also be considered).The purpose-built breast centre is well equipped with two Digital Mammography units including tomosynthesis and tomosynthesis biopsy and ultrasound.
