Job summary

Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury invites Registered Nurses to join the Radiology Service at Christchurch and Burwood Hospitals. The role is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week), permanent and fixed-term positions available for parental leave. You will work across radiology subspecialties with on-call duties after hours.

Applicants should be NZ registered; Interventional Radiology or theatre experience is preferred, with a flexible, team-focused approach to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NZ Nursing Council endorsement (APC).
• Experience in radiology or interventional radiology is preferred.
• ACUTE nursing background with ability to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Work across Radiology Service at Christchurch and Burwood Hospitals.
• Rotas include Monday–Friday with some weekend shifts; on-call shifts as required.
• Contribute to patient care in CT, ultrasound, MRI and interventional radiology areas.
