About the Role

  • Reviewing and auditing construction programmes and project look‑ahead programmes
  • Helping project teams identify delays, float movement, critical path impacts and practical recovery options
  • Providing programme support for Extension of Time claims, delay notices and programme‑related contractual matters
  • Supporting clear communication of programme impacts, risks and recovery optionsPromoting consistent MS Project standards, templates and practical programming principles
  • Coaching Project Managers, Site Managers and other relevant team members to build internal programming capability
About You

You will bring strong construction delivery experience and the confidence to work alongside experienced project teams across multiple projects. You will be able to challenge programme assumptions constructively, clearly explain programme risks and influence others without taking over their accountability.

You will also have:

  • Strong construction industry experience, ideally gained through site management, project management or a similar delivery‑focused role
  • Proven experience developing construction programmes during early project, feasibility or Preconstruction stages
  • Advanced MS Project skills
  • A strong understanding of construction sequencing, staging, methodology, procurement lead times, design milestones and critical path impacts
  • Experience reviewing programme logic, look‑ahead programmes, delay impacts and recovery options
  • Sound commercial awareness, including an understanding of delay notices, EOT processes and programme evidence
  • The ability to clearly explain programme logic, delay impacts, critical path issues and recovery options to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to balance competing priorities across multiple projects
  • A collaborative working style and confidence building strong relationships across project, site, Commercial and Preconstruction teams

A relevant qualification in construction management, project management, engineering or a related discipline would be an advantage, as would design and build experience, Primavera experience or previous experience coaching construction teams in programming practice.
