Citycare Water is seeking a motivated Construction Labourer to join our Masterton team and support essential water infrastructure projects. You will be hands-on with site preparation, trenching and general civil labour, working outdoors with tools and equipment.

Applicants should be physically fit, safety-focused and able to work well in a team or independently. A Class 1 and Class 2 license is required; endorsements are a plus. Pre-employment checks will apply.

About the job:

Ready for a role where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a practical, motivated Construction Labourer to join our Masterton team and help deliver high-quality civil construction work that supports essential water services for the community.

• Play a key part in delivering construction projects that help keep Masterton’s essential water infrastructure safe, reliable and running smoothly.
• Get hands-on with general labouring, including site preparation, clearing, lifting, cleaning, trenching and other civil works.
• Enjoy varied outdoor work using hand tools and, where required, operating plant and equipment.
• Work alongside a supportive crew to complete projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard that meets contract requirements.
• Bring a practical, hands-on approach and a team-first attitude to work that makes a real difference in the community.

What you’ll need:

• Ideally you will have previous construction skills, knowledge and experience including knowledge of relevant plant and equipment.
• You may be working towards your National Certificate.
• You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and work well in a team as well as independently.
• A full class 1 and class 2 license is required for this role – WTF endorsements would be advantageous.
