Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an experienced Resort Manager to oversee operations at our Wanaka property. You will lead across departments, build a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional experiences for owners and guests in one of New Zealand's most spectacular destinations.

You'll drive operational excellence, manage budgets and KPIs, and collaborate with regional teams to implement improvements while ensuring health, safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within hotel or resort operations.
• Strong knowledge across key accommodation departments and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily resort operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services.
• Drive guest satisfaction and deliver exceptional owner/guest experiences.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and operational KPIs.
• Build and develop an engaged, high‑performing team.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate teams on initiatives and improvements.
• Maintain relationships with owners, partners and stakeholders.

• Maintaining strong relationships with owners, local partners and key stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and New Zealand regulatory requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and overall resort performance

What You'll Bring
