Job summary

Holcim is hiring a Class 4 Truck Driver based in Wanaka to join the site team. You will be responsible for the safe mixing, inspection and delivery of ready-mix concrete, ensuring product quality and reliability while following site procedures.

The role offers full training, a close-knit on-site team, and exposure to batching, testing, loader driving and plant operations with a strong safety and environmental emphasis.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class 4 License.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Experience with concrete trucks is desirable.
• A Wheels Licence is advantageous.
• Competent with basic tools is beneficial.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mixing, inspection and delivery of ready-mix concrete is carried out safely.
• Assist with batching, testing, loader driving and daily plant operations.
• Adhere to site procedures and quality standards.

About the role

Based out of Wānaka, we are looking for an experienced Class 4 Truck Driver that is looking to diversify their skillset and be part of the growth and succession planning strategy of our team.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be accountable to ensure the mixing, inspection and delivery of ready-mix concrete is carried out safely in a manner which promotes quality and reliability of the product. This role will also have ongoing exposure to the batching, testing, loader driving and day-to-day running of the plant.

About you

• Current Class 4 License.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Previous Concrete Truck experience highly desirable, as is a Wheels Licence.
• Being handy/competent with basic tools is also really nice to have.
• Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities.
