Job summary

Allied Concrete in Otago is looking for a Concrete Cadet who wants a hands-on start straight out of school. No experience required, and you’ll learn while you work, earning a BCITO Certificate and other licences as you go.

You’ll gain exposure to batching, dispatching, forklift driving, loader operations, and truck work, with support from a team that values safety and teamwork. This full-time cadet role offers outdoor work, training, and opportunities to grow within the business, plus staff

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A reliable team player who isn't afraid of hard work.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the concrete business including batching, dispatching, forward order taking, yard housekeeping, slumping, testing, driving forklift, loader and concrete trucks.
• Get hands-on training and support to obtain licences and certificates.
• Work outdoors with a safety-minded team and contribute to a positive work environment.
