Job summary

Equitas in Christchurch seeks caring individuals to join a small residential service in Avonhead. You will support residents to thrive, assist with rehabilitation and daily living tasks, and help out in the community with one-to-one outings.

rostering involves 4 days on and 2 days off, with duties including personal care, medication administration, and mobility van driving. A full NZ drivers license and right to work in NZ are required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate support for residents and families.
• Reliable and trustworthy with good time management.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new routines.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents, families, and others involved in care.
• Support rehabilitation and independence for residents.
• Assist with community outings and transport.
• Provide personal care including showering, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medications as directed by supervisors.
• Assist with household management and meal preparation.
