Job summary

Radius Care is seeking a Casual Health Care Assistant in Hamilton to provide exceptional care under a Registered Nurse guidance. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, work with a team to implement care plans, and receive full training.

You may advance within Radius Care, with weekend/night shift allowances where applicable and access to Staff App perks. This role requires empathy, strong communication, and roster flexibility.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing and experience are desirable.
• People skills + empathy for our residents and their families.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence.
• Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner.
• Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information.
• Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records.
• Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes.
