Job summary

Radius Care, via R-Connect, is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support temporary assignments across various aged care facilities in the Auckland region. This casual on-call role means you are invited to accept vacancies based on your availability.

You must be a New Zealand citizen or resident, or have open work conditions, and hold a current New Zealand Driver's License. Duties include assisting with residents' personal care and reporting to the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent).
• Aged care experience required.
• People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the charge nurse and completing delegated tasks in a timely manner.
• Residents' personal care tasks, i.e. hygiene, grooming, toileting, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair.
• Mobilising residents.
