Job summary

Located in Gore, Southland, Bupa Windsor Park Care Home offers care options including Rest Home, Hospital and Dementia Care. As a Caregiver you’ll support residents with mobility, documentation and engagement in social activities, working within a caring, multidisciplinary team.

Role requires Level 2–4 Caregiving qualification and NZ caregiving experience. Fixed rosters and access to learning programs form part of the rewards.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2–4 Caregiving qualification with medication competency (if Level 4)
• Must have New Zealand caregiving work experience
• Experience in aged care or similar healthcare environment
• Strong passion for supporting the elderly and good communication within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with mobility per care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely care documentation
• Encourage participation in social activities and community life
• Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff
