Bupa Ascot Care Home in Glengarry, Invercargill, is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents with mobility, documentation, and social engagement. This permanent part-time role offers a stable roster and a warm, caring team environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will bring a Level 3/4 caregiving qualification, medication competency, and a passion for elderly care. The position emphasizes safety, dignity, and community involvement within a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 or 4 Caregiving qualification
• Current medication competency if Level 4 and understanding of safe medication practices
• Proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
• Create a warm, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and teammates
