Job summary

HealthCare of New Zealand in Napier invites applications for a part-time Support Worker role in Waipawa and surrounding areas. The position offers 9 guaranteed hours per week, with potential travel between sites and competitive hourly pay.

You will provide practical and emotional support, including meal preparation, community outings, medication support, personal care, and safe mobility tasks. NZ driver’s license preferred; right to work in NZ required.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach.
• Willing to undergo police vetting and other checks.
• Full NZ driver’s license and reliable transport preferred.

• Help clients achieve goals with practical and emotional support.
