Job summary

Spectrum Care in Wellington invites applications for a Casual Community Support Worker to help a young lady live as independently as possible in her home and engage with the community. You'll provide flexible support across morning, afternoon, evening and sleepovers, with weekend availability.

A NZ driver’s license and the ability to pass a police check are essential. The role offers in-house skills development and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Proactive and motivated to support people to engage in meaningful activities.
• Ability to access community and social opportunities.
• Clear, effective verbal and written English; strong communication with family and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Support a young lady to live as independently as possible in her home and engage with the community.
• Assist with community access, activities, and Aspiration Centre participation in Wellington City.
• Flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers; weekend/evening availability.
