Job summary

Spectrum Care is seeking a Community Support Worker for a casual residential role in Wellington. You will help a young woman live independently, support her to engage with the community and pursue meaningful activities.

The role offers varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleepovers. A NZ driver licence is essential, and English communication must be clear and strong.

Qualifications

• Excellent, clear, understandable verbal and written English is required.
• Able to pass a NZ police check.
• Full New Zealand driverF licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a young lady to live as independently as possible in her own home within the community.
• Assist with community activities, daily tasks and social engagement.
• Flexible across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and sleepovers; adapt to assignments in Wellington area.
