Geneva Wellbeing is seeking a Community Physiotherapist Contractor to join our Otago team. You will deliver home- and community-based rehabilitation, working autonomously with a diverse caseload.

The role requires NZ Registration and APC, and a willingness to travel across Queenstown-Lakes and wider Otago. Experience in ACC or related rehab areas is advantageous, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a NZ Registered Physiotherapist.
  • Current NZ Registration with the Physiotherapy Board and a current APC.
  • Experience with ACC, community rehabilitation, concussion, neuro, MSK, or Sensitive Claims (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region and work in clients' homes.
  • Flexible contractor arrangement and autonomous caseload management.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality community-based rehabilitation services.
  • Work directly with clients in their homes and across the Otago region.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients through their rehabilitation journey.

Are you a passionate Physiotherapist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community? Geneva Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated Community Physiotherapist Contractor to join our Otago team.

At Geneva Wellbeing, we provide community-based rehabilitation services that help people recover after injury, illness, or while living with disability. Our interdisciplinary team works in partnership with clients and their whānau/families using a strengths-based, person-centred approach.

This contractor opportunity is ideal for a NZ Registered Physiotherapist who enjoys flexibility and autonomy while delivering high-quality community-based rehabilitation services. You will be working directly with clients in their homes and the wider community across Queenstown-Lakes and widerOtago region.

Previous experience with ACC, community rehabilitation, concussion, neuro, MSK, or Sensitive Claims would be highly advantageous.

You will play an important role in supporting clients throughout their rehabilitation journey while working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will require a full clean NZ driver's licence and the ability to travel throughout the region.

  • 2+ years' experience as a NZ Registered Physiotherapist
  • Experience with ACC, community rehabilitation, concussion, neuro, MSK, or Sensitive Claims (advantageous)
  • Current NZ Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current APC
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and collaborative practice
  • Understanding of relevant health legislation and New Zealand health funding systems
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a community-based caseload
