Job summary

Auckland Council is seeking a proactive Community Lease Coordinator to support Community Lease Specialists, respond to customers, coordinate applications and documentation, and maintain accurate property and lease information. You will help keep the leasing programme moving while building knowledge of property, leasing and local government.

The role emphasises organisation, initiative and strong customer focus, with opportunities to work across Council teams and with diverse community

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ relevant experience or a property/business qualification.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong data, database, spreadsheet and records-management skills.
• Initiative, sound judgement and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate occupancy applications, documentation and lease-related enquiries.
• Maintain accurate lease, customer and property data across SAP, GIS and systems.
• Coordinate meetings, public notifications, approvals and key leasing activities.
• Support the Leasing Work Programme, reporting, records and compliance requirements.
• Identify process improvements and help keep the wider leasing team moving.
