Placements24 is seeking a passionate Community Health Educator for their Queenstown branch to deliver health education programs and resources to diverse community groups, promoting preventative health practices and healthy lifestyles.

You will develop and deliver engaging workshops, create health awareness materials, and collaborate with local health services to maximize reach and impact within the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, or related field.
• Experience in community health education, program delivery, or health promotion.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and build trust.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver health education programs and workshops to community members.
• Create accessible and culturally appropriate health education materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content.
• Conduct health needs assessments within the community to identify key health concerns and priorities.
• Collaborate with local healthcare providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
• Facilitate health screenings and provide information on accessing healthcare services.
• Track program participation and outcomes, providing regular reports on activities and impact.
