Job summary

ETITC ISB, based in Wellington, is seeking a Communications Advisor to shape our voice, strengthen our presence, and support relationships across our electrotechnology, IT and creative sectors.

This permanent, part-time role (0.6–0.8 FTE) involves creating content, managing digital channels, and supporting senior leaders with messaging. You’ll work with sector partners and the leadership team to raise ETITC ISB’s profile and contribute to workforce development in Aotearoa.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience across digital communications, web, social media, and content development.
  • A relevant communications qualification and at least three years' experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content across newsletters, web, social media, media releases, industry publications and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage ETITC ISB's digital presence, including website, email and social media channels.
  • Support senior leaders with communications, presentations and key stakeholder messaging.
  • Develop marketing and promotional activities that strengthen ETITC ISB's profile and brand.
  • Monitor communications performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.

TheETITCISBis gaining momentum, andwe’re looking for a talented Communications Advisor to help shape our voice,strengthen our presence, and support relationships across our sectors.

This is a permanent, part-time role; 0.6-0.8 FTE (24-32hours per week) where you'll bring your communications expertise to a growingorganisation, working collaboratively with the senior leadership team, industrystakeholders and partners across our sectors.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll:

  • Createengaging content across newsletters, web, social media, media releases,industry publications and stakeholder communications.
  • Manageand grow ETITC ISB's digital presence, including website, email and socialmedia channels.
  • Buildrelationships with industry media, stakeholders and partners to promoteETITC ISB's work and priorities.
  • Supportsenior leaders with communications, presentations and key stakeholdermessaging.
  • Developmarketing and promotional activities that strengthen ETITC ISB's profileand brand.
  • Monitorcommunications performance and identify opportunities to improveengagement and reach.
  • Provideinternal communications that keep kaimahi informed and connected.
  • UpholdTe Tiriti o Waitangi principles in communications and stakeholderengagement.
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Exceptionalwriting and editing skills.
  • Strongstakeholder and relationship management capability.
  • Experienceacross digital communications, web, social media, and content development.
  • Excellentorganisation, judgement, and attention to detail.
  • Arelevant communications qualification and at least three years'experience.
  • Contributeto ETITC ISB as we continue to grow our presence, strengthenindustryrelationships and establish our role within the vocational educationsystem.
  • Helpshape how our ISB communicates, engages, and builds trust with industry.
  • Workclosely with sector leaders, industry bodies, and government partners.
  • Makea genuine impact on Aotearoa's workforce development across the ISB’sessential sectors.
