Qjumpers in Christchurch is seeking a Commis – Junior Chef to support busy casino kitchens. You’ll assist with preparation and presentation of food across multiple outlets, and adapt as rosters change to meet business needs.

This full-time role requires dependability and a positive, professional attitude, with on‑the‑job training and development opportunities. You’ll work across long hours including weekends and the Christmas period.

As a Commis/Junior Chef, you’ll assist with the preparation and presentation of food across our various Casino kitchens. You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable, as you’ll be rostered across different outlets depending on business needs.

You’ll need to be dependable and flexible to work across our operating hours:

• Monday to Sunday: 12pm - 4am
• Availability over Christmas and New Year is essential

This is a Full-Time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Hourly rate of $27.89 per hour and we have a wide range of benefits including:

Applicants must be either a NZ citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current NZ Open Work Visa with at least 12 months remaining on their visa.
