Job summary

Webuild in New Zealand delivers complex infrastructure with a strong local delivery capability, backed by a global group. This role focuses on commercial management, contract administration, claims handling and governance across NZ projects.

Your focus will include:

• Administering and interpreting complex contractual agreements to ensure commercial obligations and entitlements are effectively managed.
• Managing payment claim processes, supporting assessments and coordinating associated documentation.
• Identifying, assessing and administering contract changes, variations and commercial claims.
• Preparing contractual notices, correspondence and supporting commercial documentation.
• Building strong relationships with project stakeholders, delivery partners and suppliers.
• Supporting project reporting, governance, audit and compliance activities.

What you will bring to the team:

• Extensive experience in commercial management, contract administration, claims management or a similar role within major infrastructure, construction or project environments.
• Strong ability to read, analyse and interpret complex contract documentation and identify commercial opportunities, risks and contractual entitlements.
• Demonstrated experience managing variations, claims, payment processes and contract compliance activities.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written communication skills, including preparation of formal contractual correspondence and notices.
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
