Job summary

Aon is seeking a Client Manager in New Plymouth or Whanganui to develop and grow a diverse client portfolio. You will identify new business opportunities, collaborate with clients, underwriters and Aon stakeholders to tailor strategies that create value and drive retention.

You will manage client servicing, prepare proposals, support renewals and produce accurate premium calculations while delivering high-quality client service. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in insurance broking and portfolio management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• L5 Fire and General Qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage client servicing requirements and relationships.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing clients and new business.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to client inquiries with external stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate renewals and prepare premium calculations.

About The Role

As Client Manager, you will be entrusted with developing and growing a diverse client portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening strategic partnerships. Bringing your technical broking expertise, you'll collaborate with clients, underwriters, and Aon stakeholders to develop tailored strategies that create value, drive retention, and support long-term success.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing client servicing requirements
• Identifying opportunities for growth both within your existing client base and new business
• Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs through liaison with external stakeholders!
• Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
• Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

You will have proven experience in insurance broking and managing your portfolio, not only that but you will have the ability to deliver high quality client services and have exceptional communication skills.

A Few Other Key Requirement Will Be

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• L5 Fire and General Qualification!
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
