Foodstuffs North Island is offering a Commercial Analyst Intern role with Gilmours. You’ll dive into pricing and promotions, supporting category managers and assisting with pricing architecture to deliver customer value.
You’ll develop data analysis skills, work with Excel, and join a collaborative team. The program runs for 12 weeks from November in Māngere, Auckland, with mentorship and learning sessions.
As a Commercial Analyst Intern, you’ll be part of the Gilmours team. This role focuses on pricing and promotions, with the goal of helping Gilmours offer great everyday value to customers. You’ll work closely with Category Managers and Category Assistants, combining data analysis with hands‑on category support
You’re studying towards a commerce/ law or IT degree, or a related field, and you’re interested in how pricing, promotions, and category decisions shape customer value. You enjoy working with data, have some experience using Excel, and have a strong eye for detail. You’re a self‑starter who’s comfortable working independently but also enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
You’ll have a curiosity to learn, a knack for problem solving and be ready to get stuck in to making a positive impact on New Zealand communities. You’ll ideally be interested in one of the above areas listed and in our application form, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate your preferred roles (you don’t necessarily need to be studying something that is aligned).
