Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a Gisborne-based employer to fill a Cold Store Manager role in a high-volume FMCG setting. You will report to Production Manager and drive efficiency while maintaining a safe workplace.

You’ll coach and develop a team to reach its full potential, drawing on extensive operations leadership experience. Ideal candidates will have NZ work rights, 5+ years in similar roles, and a solid grasp of inventory controls, continuous improvement, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations leadership in food production.
• Experience with inventory management and control.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and regulatory compliance.
• Proven success managing and leading teams.
• Experience with continuous improvements and process optimisation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Island employeras they search for a skilled Cold Store Manager to work in their busy Gisborne Plant.

THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be responsible for building & driving operational efficiency & effectiveness in the department. An integral part of the role will be ensuring a safe & healthy work environment for the team. You will use your previous experience in high volume FMCG operations. This is a great team & it will be a special person to come in to coach & develop them to their full potential.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ yrs experience in operations leadership in food production
• Experience with inventory management & control
• Solid understanding of H&S & regulatory compliance
• Previous success managing & leading teams
• Working knowledge of continuous improvements
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Immediate NZ work rights and experience
