Job summary

Mt Atkinson Coffee in West Auckland is seeking an All Rounder to work across the coffee shop floor and the roastery, in New Lynn. You’ll be the friendly face for regulars, handle counter service, assist with cabinet food and bagels, and help dispatch online and wholesale orders.

You’ll swap between pouring as a Barista in the morning and supporting roasting and packing in the afternoon, bringing warmth, hospitality and attention to detail to every order and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Proven barista skills and customer interaction.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy with orders.

Mt Atkinson Coffee is looking for an All rounder to join the c in New Lynn, Someone equally happy on the coffee shop floor as they are packing orders and helping keep the roastery ticking over. You'll work across both the shop and roastery, thriving on connection and manaakitanga as part of something meaningful.

Key responsibilities

• Making coffee, serving customers, and keeping the shop running smoothly
• Handling cabinet food, bagels, and retail – helping customers find what they need
• Being the friendly face of Mt Atkinson for regulars
• Packing and dispatching online and wholesale orders
• Helping keep stock, labelling, and inventory in order
• Lending a hand around the roastery as needed

About you

• A grounded, positive person who thrives on variety
• Happy to swap between pouring swans as a Barista in the morning and helping out in the roastery in the afternoon
• Great hospitality experience
• A nerd's eye for detail with orders
• The attitude to just get stuck in
