VTNZ Lichfield Street branch in Christchurch is seeking a skilled CoF B Automotive Technician for a full-time role. The position offers a starting hourly rate and requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and teamwork.

Applicants should have relevant diesel experience and be prepared to work 40 hours per week with occasional weekend shifts. If the CoF B authority is not held, we can arrange training at our centre for qualified candidates with prior diesel mechanic experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and customer service mindset are essential.
• Experience with diesel engines and heavy on-road vehicles is preferred.
• Willingness to complete CoF B authority at our training centre if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy on-road vehicles with a focus on safety.
• Deliver high-quality service while working 40 hours per week, including some weekend roster.
• Collaborate with team and customers to ensure smooth vehicle certification and testing processes.
